FORT ATKINSON — St. Joseph Catholic School alumni in Fort Atkinson had the opportunity to travel to the Philippines on a mission trip recently.
Working with the Fort Atkinson Rotary Club, these six members of the High School Interact Club were selected to travel to Mararison Island and help with the project.
The school alumni included: Holland Foelker, Ernest Bos, Emmalee Buchta, Riley Koehler, Eli Koehler, and Ben Nelson.
BARABOO — Vigil for Life will host the 11th annual Respect Life Retreat at Durward’s Glen Retreat and Conference Center in Baraboo on September 21 to 22.
They are inviting anyone who works and/or prays to build a culture of life and who recognizes that this effort is ultimately the Lord’s battle to save souls and protect innocent lives from conception until natural death.

The film will be shown on Tuesday, Sept. 18, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in the SSM Health Janesville garden level conference rooms on the Dean Medical Group side of the campus. It is free, but people are asked to call 608-373-8031 to reserve a seat.MADISON — Some new developments within the Office of Safe Environment in the Diocese of Madison have been announced.
Cheryl Splinter Bartoszek will be transitioning to a more focused role as the Victim Assistance Coordinator.
“This will allow us to provide better care and support for victims in a timely manner when they reach out to our offices in need,” she said.
