Another Holy Week is upon us. I’d like to be able to say, “Holy Holstein, where did Lent go??” However, I find myself falling short on that score.

Every Holy Week, we listen to the proclamation of the Passion of Christ twice. On Palm Sunday, we hear from the Gospel of the current liturgical cycle, (this year, it is St. Luke) and on Good Friday, it is always the Passion from the Gospel of John.

I was recently reading an article about the job market — what the highest paying occupations are these days, what positions are most in demand, etc. It’s not that I’m planning to reenter the work force anytime soon, but you never know.
