MADISON — The Bishop William P. O’Connor Fourth Degree Assembly will be collecting money that will be used to purchase 15 to 20 wheelchairs for the Apostolate to the Handicapped.
Meriter Home Health has agreed to purchase the chairs for the program at $285 each, a savings of $315 for each chair.
Wheelchairs can be purchased as a memorial for a loved one or friend; a plaque will be attached to each chair noting the donor and person(s) remembered. Direct financial donations will also be accepted towards the purchase of wheelchairs.
Donations for either a full wheelchair or partial wheelchair should be made payable to Apostolate to the Handicapped and can be sent to Bill Cross, 2013 Allied Dr., #2, Madison, WI 53711-4527.
