Msgr. James Bartylla, Vicar General, announces the following priest appointments made by Most Reverend Donald J. Hying, Bishop of Madison, effective as specifically stated below.

The following nine priests are reappointed to the office of vicar forane, per canons 553 and 554, effective December 3, 2019, for a term ending October 2, 2022, in the vicariates forane listed below:

• Very Rev. Fr. David Greenfield, V.F., vicar forane of the Columbia North Vicariate Forane

• Rev. Msgr. Duane Moellenberndt, V.F., vicar forane of the East Dane Vicariate Forane

• Very Rev. Fr. John Meinholz, V.F., vicar forane of the Grant Vicariate Forane

• Very Rev. Fr. Patrick Wendler, V.F., vicar forane of the Jefferson Vicariate Forane

• Very Rev. Fr. Stephen Petrica, V.F., vicar forane of the Lafayette Vicariate Forane, continuing in his original term expiring October 2, 2022

• Rev. Msgr. Randy Timmerman, V.F., vicar forane of the Madison Vicariate Forane

• Very Rev. Fr. Paul Arinze, V.F., vicar forane of the Rock-Green Vicariate Forane

• Very Rev. Fr. Jay Poster, V.F., vicar forane of the Sauk Vicariate Forane

• Very Rev. Fr. Richard Heilman, V.F., vicar forane of the West Dane Vicariate Forane

The following twelve priests are (re)appointed to the Presbyteral Council, per canons 495 through 501, effective December 3, 2019, for a term expiring June 30, 2022, with all other previously-appointed Presbyteral Council members being removed due to expiration of term, with Presbyteral Council ex-officio members remaining and elected members remaining according to their original terms:

• Very Rev. Fr. Paul Arinze, V.F., reappointed

• Rev. Msgr. Daniel Ganshert, reappointed

• Rev. Fr. Christopher Gernetzke, reappointed

• Very Rev. Fr. David Greenfield, V.F., appointed

• Rev. Msgr. Kevin Holmes, reappointed

• Rev. Fr. Gregory Ihm, reappointed

• Rev. Fr. Jorge Miramontes, appointed

• Rev. Fr. Timothy Renz, appointed

• Rev. Fr. Faustino Ruiz, appointed

• Rev. Fr. Eric Sternberg, reappointed

• Rev. Fr. Michael Tarigopula, appointed

• Rev. Fr. William Vernon, appointed

The College of Consultors is reconstituted for a five-year term beginning January 1, 2020, per canon 502 §1, consisting of the following twelve members from the Presbyteral Council:

• Very Rev. Fr. Paul Arinze, V.F.

• Rev. Msgr. James Bartylla, V.G.

• Rev. Msgr. Daniel Ganshert

• Rev. Msgr. Kevin Holmes

• Rev. Fr. Gregory Ihm

• Rev. Fr. John Hedrick

• Very Rev. Fr. David Greenfield, V.F.

• Rev. Fr. Thomas Kelley

• Rev. Fr. Jorge Miramontes
