Bingo

COLUMBUS
St. Jerome Parish with the Knights of Columbus Council 1609 hosts bingo on the second Saturday of each month in the school gym, located at 1550 Farnham St., Columbus. Doors open at 5 p.m.
Bingo starts at 6 p.m.

SUN PRAIRIE
Knights of Columbus Council 4879 hosts bingo every Monday, except on major holidays, at The Round Table, 1611 N. Bristol St., Sun Prairie. Doors open at 4:15 p.m. The kitchen and bar are open from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Bingo starts at 6:30 p.m.   

Book Fair

SUN PRAIRIE
Catholic Order of Foresters Court 669 is hosting a Literati Book Fair from Friday, Oct. 10, through Sunday, Oct. 12, at the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary School Library, 219 Columbus St., Sun Prairie, after the Masses on those days. There will be books of interest to young and old. Profits will be matched by the Catholic Order of Foresters.

Dinners

ROXBURY
Knights of Columbus Council 3099 will be having its annual Pork Chop Dinner on Sunday, Oct. 26, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Norbert Church, 8944 Cty. Hwy. Y, Roxbury. It will be drive-thru or dine-in. Pre-orders by Monday, Oct. 20, are encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome. Order at divinemercy-parish.org and click on “Events” or contact Chad Brickl at [email protected] or 608-393-3335.

LA VALLE
There will be a dine-in or carry-out Chicken and Biscuit Supper on Tuesday, Oct. 14, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Holy Family Church, 310 Bluff St., La Valle.

SPRING GREEN
St. John the Evangelist Church’s Fall Dinner and Raffle will be held on Sunday, Oct. 12, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 129 Daley St., Spring Green. Dinner includes turkey, ham, and all the fixings. There will also be a raffle for a handmade quilt.

Festivals

BARABOO
St. Joseph Parish will host its Fall Festival at the fairgrounds, 700 Washington Ave., Baraboo, on Sunday, Oct. 12, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a chicken dinner, raffle, bake sale, games, and family fun.

HIGHLAND
Ss. Anthony and Philip Church, 726 Main St., Highland, will have an Oktoberfest celebration on Sunday, Oct. 12, from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be dine-in or carry-out BBQ pork and sauerbraten meal options, a silent auction, and a raffle.

Rosary

MINERAL POINT
A public Rosary will be prayed at Mary’s Rosary Garden on the Wiesbrook Farm, 775 Cty. Hwy. DDD, Mineral Point, on Sunday, Oct. 12, at 1 p.m. For directions, call 608-574-1344.

Walking with Moms

MADISON
The Walking with Moms in Need (WWMIN) annual event will be held on Friday, Oct. 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at Schoenstatt Heights, 5901 Cottage Grove Rd., Madison. The morning begins with Mass at 8:30 a.m., celebrated by Bishop Donald J. Hying of Madison, followed by a panel discussion with local pregnancy resource center representatives. Holy Name Heights

MADISON
Holy Name Heights, 702 S. High Point Rd.
Eucharistic Adoration for Vocations, 9 to 11:45 a.m., Monday through Friday.
Daily Mass, 12 noon, Monday through Friday.

Catholic Multicultural Center

MADISON
The Catholic Multicultural Center, 1862 Beld St., offers the following services at the times below.
Daily free meal — weekdays, 4 to 5 p.m.
Employment Search Assistance — Tuesdays and Thursdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Program contact: Sam Van Akkeren, 608-898-4424
Food pantry — Tuesdays, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. (including personal essentials items), and Thursdays, 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon (food only; no personal essentials).
Immigration legal services — by appointment only. For more information or to make an appointment, call 608-441-0114.
English as a Second Language (ESL) classes — Mondays and Wednesdays, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 6 to 7:30 p.m. (at CMC West, 5256 Verona Rd., Fitchburg). Tuesdays, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10 to 11:30 a.m.

Durward’s Glen

BARABOO
Durward’s Glen, W11876 McLeisch Rd., Baraboo, is available to rent for retreats.
The chapel is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The grounds and trails are open from dawn to dusk daily.
The Rosary is prayed at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesdays, followed by Mass at 8 a.m.
Join in after Mass for Bible study, coffee, and refreshments.
