Where from and where to
I recently got to visit Heritage Hill State Historical Park in Green Bay. Through old buildings and professional storytellers, the park attempts to help people step back in time, learn about the past, and see the area for what it used to be.
Boring or blessed?
Back in 2010, a computer decided that April 11, 1954, was “the most boring day since the dawn of the 20th Century”. That’s a pretty bold statement to make from something that wasn’t there at the time.

A perfect Church for imperfect people
Well, Happy Easter, everyone. There are a lot of things I could write about this week. I guess I can’t really ignore the top topic on the Catholic Church — Pope Francis has died and soon we will have a new pope.
Happy Easter! Don’t overdo it
Easter is a time to feast and celebrate. It’s a time to be joyful — or maybe glorious — in the Resurrection of the Lord and the hope of the resurrection to come at the end of the age.
Hidden in the hearts
I saw one of the best sunrises ever this morning. Since I still retain a measure of journalistic ethics, I should make that statement a little more accurate.
