‘I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it. . . (You can’t have it!)’

My beloved and I recently watched a documentary on TV that, in part, described the emergence of the mall pretzel — the things I put her through.

We are not in control, God is

Every day we try to do things our way. We set an alarm for when to wake up to have power over when we start our days. Sometimes the alarm doesn’t go off and we find that we have not made our own decision when to wake up.

A perfect Church for imperfect people

Well, Happy Easter, everyone. There are a lot of things I could write about this week. I guess I can’t really ignore the top topic on the Catholic Church — Pope Francis has died and soon we will have a new pope.

Happy Easter! Don’t overdo it

Easter is a time to feast and celebrate. It’s a time to be joyful — or maybe glorious — in the Resurrection of the Lord and the hope of the resurrection to come at the end of the age.
