CDMF looks back on 2024

The Catholic Diocese of Madison Foundation (CDMF) provides grants, charitable distributions, and financial support to various parishes, schools, and nonprofits throughout the Diocese of Madison.

Many of the funds that support these great works are established by individuals who wish to make a faith-based difference in their community.

In 2024, the CDMF was honored once again to be able to make a lasting impact in the Catholic community across our diocese, whether it be grants to support student tuition at our Catholic schools, distributions to support much-needed maintenance work at our parishes, or support for the many individuals who start new funds with us in faith and out of the goodness of their hearts.

Included in this edition of the Catholic Herald is the CDMF’s annual report for fiscal year 2024. We are thrilled to be able to share some highlights of our success and impacts across the diocese. The report includes insight and reflections from our board president and executive director, a financial snapshot of the foundation, and a list of our funds. You can also read about grant impacts, learn how you can leave your own legacy, and much more.

We would like to conclude this year by saying thank you to everyone who has donated or started a fund with us, to our board of directors, and to anyone else who has helped us grow into a thriving and impactful faith-based foundation right here in the heart of the Diocese of Madison.

We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and we look forward to growing our support for the ministries of the Diocese of Madison and our beautiful Catholic Faith in 2025 and beyond.

If you are interested in starting an endowment fund of your own, visit diocesemadisonfoundation.org or give us a call at 608-821-3048.

Also, consider asking your parish priest if he has considered starting an endowment fund with the CDMF.

We would be happy to help in any way possible as we work together to serve Christ and his Church here in the Diocese of Madison.

Grant McGurn is the operations manager for the Catholic Diocese of Madison Foundation (CDMF).
