DANE — On April 21, 4K through second grade students from Blessed Trinity School in Dane took a field trip to Ripp’s Dairy Valley Farm in Dane.

There, the students had a chance to see what life is like on a farm, how dairy cows are raised and taken care of, and to pet lots of animals such as calves, rabbits, and ducks.

They even got to climb inside a large tractor.

The students had the chance to ask and learn about how the cows are raised.

The kids ate some of the results of farm work — pizza and ice cream — made with dairy products.
