DODGEVILLE — Helen M. [Lawinger] Flanagan, age 91, mother of Fr. Dave Flanagan, pastor of St. Rose of Lima Parish, Cuba City, and St. Patrick Parish, Benton, died on Thursday, April 25, 2013, at Upland Hills Health Hospital in Dodgeville.
Visitation will be held Sunday, April 28, 2013 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Gorgen Funeral Home, 310 Ridge St., Mineral Point, Wis. and on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass at St. Mary & St. Paul Church in Mineral Point.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, April 29, 2013, at 11 a.m. in St. Mary & St. Paul Catholic Church, 224 Davis St., Mineral Point. The celebrant of the Funeral Mass is Father Flanagan with Deacon Larry Lawinger as homilist. A luncheon in the Parish Hall will follow Mass. Burial will take place immediately following Mass at St. Mary & St. Paul Parish Cemetery, Mineral Point.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Cecil; two sisters, Eleanor and Alice; two brothers, Bill and Bob; and her daughter Kaye.
