GREENFIELD — School Sister of St. Francis Dolores Pertzborn (Theorita) died February 9, 2009, at Clement Manor in Greenfield. The daughter of Theodore and Elizabeth Pertzborn, she was born May 11, 1926, in Dane. She was received into the School Sisters of St. Francis June 13, 1943, and made first profession of vows June 21, 1945, and final (perpetual) vows June 21, 1951.
Sister Dolores lived her religious ministry as a teacher, principal, director of religious education, and administrator in Wisconsin. In the Diocese of Madison, Sister Dolores served as director of religious education at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Monona (1970-1972), and served as director of religious education for the parishes of Area 7 in Dodgeville (1972-1977).
A wake and Funeral Mass took place on February 10 at St. Joseph Convent in Milwaukee. Interment followed at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Milwaukee.
