The 10th National Eucharistic Congress will be happening July 17-21 in Indianapolis. It is the first National Eucharistic Congress in 83 years. Many will travel to be part of this historic event, but closer to home we have a chance to be part of a Eucharistic pilgrimage that will travel through Wisconsin on its way to Indianapolis.
Teams of pilgrims will walk with Jesus in the Eucharist starting in four routes from the north, south, east and west that will process across the country and will all meet at the National Eucharistic Congress. The northern Marian route will travel through the dioceses of La Crosse, Green Bay, and Milwaukee in Wisconsin.
The Marian route of the National Eucharistic pilgrimage will enter the Diocese of La Crosse on Friday, June 7. The Diocese of Madison will have a motorcoach bus leaving from Holy Name Heights in Madison to travel to La Crosse, joining the pilgrimage for 1.5 miles as it travels from the Diocese of Winona-Rochester and enters into Wisconsin followed by a Eucharistic Rally called The Answer throughout the day. Jesus is the Answer to the meaning of your life, your purpose, your dreams, and your difficulties and this is a day to open your heart and connect with Him. The rally will begin with Mass and include speakers Chris Stefanick, Immaculee Ilibagiza, Josh Rosa, and Fr. Justin Kizewski, along with Adoration, music, and more. For $55 you can ride the bus and not have to worry about parking. Register to reserve your spot on the bus before May 1. Space is limited so sign up today.
