Priest appointments — 9/20/2025

Very Rev. Tait Schroeder, Vicar General, announces the following clergy appointments, effective Saturday, September 20, 2025, and announced the same day, based on the merger of St. Joseph Parish in Edgerton, St. Paul Parish in Evansville, St. Augustine Parish in Footville, Holy Mother of Consolation Parish in Oregon, and St. Ann Parish in Stoughton, to become St. Cletus Parish, as decreed by Most Rev. Donald Hying, Bishop of Madison:

• Very Rev. David Wanish, to Pastor, St. Cletus Parish, per canon 522, for a term of six years with the possibility of renewal, as a result of the canonical merger of St. Joseph Parish in Edgerton, St. Paul
Parish in Evansville, St. Augustine Parish in Footville, Holy Mother of Consolation Parish in Oregon, and
St. Ann Parish in Stoughton, to form St. Cletus Parish, from Parochial Administrator, St. Joseph Parish in
Edgerton, St. Paul Parish in Evansville, St. Augustine Parish in Footville, Holy Mother of Consolation Parish in Oregon, and St. Ann Parish in Stoughton.

• Rev. Randy Budnar, to Parochial Vicar, St. Cletus Parish, per canon 545, as a result of the canonical merger of St. Joseph Parish in Edgerton, St. Paul Parish in Evansville, St. Augustine Parish in Footville, Holy Mother of Consolation Parish in Oregon, and St. Ann Parish in Stoughton, to form St. Cletus Parish, from Parochial Vicar, St. Joseph Parish in Edgerton, St. Paul Parish in Evansville, St. Augustine Parish in Footville, Holy Mother of Consolation Parish in Oregon, and St. Ann Parish in Stoughton.

• Rev. John Bosco Pudhota, to Parochial Vicar, St. Cletus Parish, per canon 545, as a result of the canonical merger of St. Joseph Parish in Edgerton, St. Paul Parish in Evansville, St. Augustine Parish in Footville, Holy Mother of Consolation Parish in Oregon, and St. Ann Parish in Stoughton, to form St. Cletus Parish, from Parochial Vicar, St. Joseph Parish in Edgerton, St. Paul Parish in Evansville, St. Augustine Parish in Footville, Holy Mother of Consolation Parish in Oregon, and St. Ann Parish in Stoughton.

• Deacon Mark Priniski, to parish deacon assignment, St. Cletus Parish.

Additionally, Very Rev. Tait Schroeder, Vicar General, announces the following clergy appointment, effective September 16, 2025:

• Very Rev. Gabriel López-Betanzos, to Parochial Vicar, Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, per canon 545, from Parochial Vicar, Divine Mercy Parish (Madison/Verona/Paoli), while maintaining his other office as Judicial Vicar.
