It is amazing work the Lord can accomplish in the hearts of 325 teens and adult chaperones in a single weekend. From February 7 to 9, teens from across the Diocese of Madison made their way to the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells for the annual Frassati Fest weekend retreat.

The more than 400 participants, leaders, and guests, could wear silly costume accessories, hold flags, or hold each other, and get their pictures taken for later memory and social media use.
Gaining strength in our pursuit of Christ
This past Sunday, I was able to offer Mass and spend some time with our young people gathered for Frassati Fest, which is organized by our diocesan Office of Evangelization and Catechesis, and put on for our high schoolers, with the help and cooperation of so many good people.
It was a terrific gathering. What I told them, I think, is a good message for all of us.
