Parish livestreams series on prayer

St. Clare of Assisi Parish in Monroe began livestreaming a five-week series entitled “Questioning Prayer” on Thursday, July 16, and it runs through Thursday, Aug. 13. The series, led by Parochial Vicar Fr. Tim Mergen, focuses on how to grow a deeper interior prayer life. The series begins at 5:15 p.m. every Thursday. The talks last about 45 minutes and are followed by a short period for prayer. More parishes offer livestream Masses, services

Following is information on additional livestreaming Masses and other services offered by parishes in the Diocese of Madison.

Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary, Sun Prairie. Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary offers the following:

1) Livestreamed Masses on Saturday at 4 p.m. and Sunday at 10 a.m. on Facebook.

2) Daily homily posted on Facebook and daily Masses recorded and posted on website and YouTube.

Mass, Eucharistic Procession during solemnity, pandemic

MADISON — In a nearly empty oratory at Holy Name Heights in Madison, Bishop Donald J. Hying of Madison celebrated Mass on March 25, the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord.

With concelebrant Vicar General Msgr. James Bartylla, seminarian Luis Reyes as server, and Office of Worship Director Dr. Patrick Gorman as cantor, the Mass was livestreamed via Facebook and YouTube and viewable to the public, unable to attend Masses during this time of the COVID-19 pandemic.
