REEDSBURG — On Saturday, May 15, men from throughout the Diocese of Madison are invited to an outdoor retreat at Camp Gray in Reedsburg.
Bishop Donald J. Hying of Madison and Fr. Jared Holzhuter, pastor of St Olaf Parish in DeForest, will be the featured speakers for this event.
This year’s theme is, “Do Not Let Your Hearts Be Troubled,” based on the scripture passage John 14:2.
Honoring St. Joseph
Issuing Patris Corde, (“With a Father’s Heart”), Pope Francis has declared a special year to honor St. Joseph and to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the declaration of Joseph as the patron of the Universal Church.
Parishes around the diocese to host Men of Christ event
MADISON — The Men of Christ-Madison and the St. Francis Xavier Parish Knights of Columbus Council #3924 are hosting an Advent Men’s Retreat on the morning of Saturday, Dec. 5.
The event has come together after the initial in-person Men of Christ-Madison event had to cancel.
Due to COVID-19, the format has been adjusted to a mixed design.
The speakers’ presentations are being recorded and extended out to participating parish sites.
Each participating parish will host a live event, following the recommended health guidelines for their area.
Madison Men of Christ Conference in Wisconsin Dells
WISCONSIN DELLS — The first Men of Christ Conference-Diocese of Madison will be held on Saturday, Oct. 24, at St. Cecilia Church in Wisconsin Dells, 603 Oak St.
Its theme is “Live Truth, Defend Truth.”
The vision of the Men of Christ conferences is to create an environment that will evangelize, catechize, and unify Catholic men.
The mission is to honor our Lord Jesus Christ by bringing Catholic men together, thereby forming a brotherhood that will empower each man to boldly live his Catholic faith.Men interact with families

A Men’s Christian Experience Weekend (CEW) will be held on Friday to Sunday, March 13 to 15, at St. Ann Parish, Stoughton.
Men’s Retreat at Durward’s Glen
BARABOO — On Saturday, Feb. 9, all men are invited to the 13th Annual Men’s Retreat hosted by St. Joseph Parish and titled, “Through the Flames”.
Fr. John Sasse will be the featured speaker. The retreat will be held at Durward’s Glen.

MADISON — Madison-area men will have a “start of Lent” opportunity to enhance their Lenten experience at the newly renovated Jesuit Retreat House overlooking Lake Winnebago near Oshkosh.
It’s a rare chance to spend time with God in prayer, surrounded by the beauty, peace, and solitude of nature.
“What God reveals in Scripture is the love in which we are created, the love that sustains us, and the love in which we will rest,” said Fr. Chris Manahan, Retreat House director.
Catholic Men’s Conference planned in Waunakee
WAUNAKEE — A Catholic Men’s Conference will be held on Saturday, Sept. 16, at St. John the Baptist Church, 209 South St., Waunakee.
All men are invited to attend this half-day conference. Gather with men who have a desire to grow in their Catholic faith to become better fathers, grandfathers, husbands, and brothers.
