Public Square Rosary Rally to be held in Princeton

PRINCETON — To honor traditional marriage and the family, a Public Square Rosary Crusade, organized by America Needs Fatima, will take place across America on Saturday, March 23, at 12 noon, local time.

Locally, the Council of Catholic Women of Our Lady of the Lake Parish in Green Lake, together with St. John the Baptist Parish in Princeton, will hold a Public Square Rosary Rally on Saturday, March 23, at 12 noon in front of St. John the Baptist Church on Hwy. 73 in Princeton.

BERLIN — On May 13, 1917, three Portuguese children were visited by the Blessed Mother in Fatima, Portugal.

Subsequent visits occurred on the 13th of each month until October 13, 1917, when the miracle of the dancing sun was performed by Our Lady and witnessed by 70,000 people.

MADISON — On Sunday, Oct. 7, which is the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, Catholics in Madison will be praying the Rosary on the steps of the state Capitol building (facing State St.), as part of the Rosary Coast to Coast initiative.

Joyful and Sorrowful Mysteries begin at 2 p.m. with exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. Glorious Mysteries begin at 3 p.m.

New school year, new playgrounds

MONONA/DARLINGTON — Students at Catholic schools in Monona and Darlington will have more to look forward to as the school year starts than just seeing their friends again and learning new lessons.

Both Immaculate Heart of Mary (IHM) School in Monona and Holy Rosary School in Darlington have just completed building their new playgrounds, fully ready for recess times.
