The Sinsinawa Dominican Congregation of the Most Holy Rosary, Sinsinawa, elected new leadership and set direction for the next five years at their 25th General Chapter in Brookfield, Wis., April 15–23, 2023. The newly elected will begin their term July 1, 2023, after an installation ceremony at St. Joseph Chapel, Edgewood College, Madison.

Sr. Barbara Bell, OP, has died
SINSINAWA — Sr. Barbara Bell, OP, died January 17, 2022, at St. Dominic Villa, Hazel Green, Wis. Her religious name was Sister Walthier. Natural burial took place Jan. 19 in the Motherhouse Cemetery, Sinsinawa, Wis. The funeral Mass was held at the Dominican motherhouse, Sinsinawa, Jan. 22.
Mazzuchelli memorial Mass held in Benton

Sister Marie Cecile Oberle, OP, dies
Dominican Sister Marie Cecile Oberle died August 18 at Southwest Health Center, Cuba City. The Mass of Resurrection was held in Queen of the Rosary Chapel at Sinsinawa August 22 followed by burial in the Motherhouse Cemetery.
