Not unlike millions of other people at various times in their lives, a few weeks ago, I was having somewhat of an undesirable day at work, and I wanted nothing more than to make the clock go faster and go home for the day.
Upon expressing this desire to a friend of mine, I was told, “Don’t wish your life away”.
Ever since my friend uttered that chiding, but necessary, comment it’s really stuck with me.MADISON — Our Lady Queen of Peace School is holding its second Annual Fun Run/Walk fundraiser to benefit the Make A Wish Foundation, WUNDERGLO Foundation, and the school.
All are invited to come to the school parking lot at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, to help cheer on students as they run or walk as many laps as they can in one hour around the Queen of Peace neighborhood to raise money for charities and the school.
