There is evidence that climate change is fiction

On November 25, 2015
Ronald Curio

To the editor:

NASA’s claim in Tony Magliano’s column in the November 19 issue of the Catholic Herald that 97 percent of climate scientists agree that man is the main cause of climate change originates in a discredited study by Australian scientist John Cook, also author of a book supporting climate change, who analyzed 11,944 abstracts.

Thirty-four percent of the abstracts expressed an opinion on global warming. Thirty-three percent (97 percent) agreed with the conclusions in Cook’s book. A peer review of the abstracts showed agreement of one percent.

There has been no global temperature increase in 19 years. There is no evidence that sea levels are rising.

The last 10 years have seen the fewest number of storms in the Atlantic Basin, and world wide, since the 1940s. Antarctic ice cover is at record levels. Arctic ice cover has recovered to the level of the 1980s.

On November 15, 2015, Ottmar Edemhofer, a member of the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, stated, “We redistribute de facto the world’s wealth by climate policy.” This is a political movement masquerading as an ecological movement.

There is solid evidence that climate change is a fiction. The climate change movement attempts to will climate change into existence because it fits the movement’s political paradigm and can be used to achieve the movement’s political ends.

The movement’s claim to “know” the pace and cause of climate change implies that this select group knows God’s plan for our earth. This is extremely disturbing.
