To the editor:
Thank you for section on the State of the Diocese (January 10 issue), listing the many accomplishments of Bishop Robert C. Morlino over these past 15 years.
To that list we would like to add his great support for and encouragement of the work of the Women’s Care Center Madison, which opened in 2012.
At that time, he personally came to bless the center at the dedication ceremony. He also gave us permission to reserve the Blessed Sacrament in our chapel. When thanked for giving us his permission, his response was simply, “It was a no brainer.”
On behalf of the board, staff, and volunteers of the Women’s Care Center, thank you, Bishop Morlino, for your efforts to help build a culture of life.
