Rev. Msgr. James Bartylla, Vicar General, announces the following appointments made by Most Reverend Robert C. Morlino, Bishop of Madison:
• Apostolate to the Handicapped — Appointment of a new Director of the Apostolate to the Handicapped to be made concurrent with the appointment of a new pastor for St. Victor’s Parish, Monroe, and St. Rose of Lima Parish, Brodhead, in conjunction with annual summer priestly assignments in 2011 in the Diocese of Madison. Rev. Michael Klarer will serve as temporary liaison to the Bishop of Madison and the Vicar General on ministerial needs of the Apostolate to the Handicapped prior to the appointment of the new pastor and director.
• Rev. Chad Droessler, to parochial vicar, St. Maria Goretti Parish, Madison, per canon 545, and concurrently to Assistant Master of Ceremonies to the Bishop of Madison, effective January 12, 2011.
• Rev. Brian Dulli, to parochial vicar, St. Joseph Parish, Baraboo, per canon 545, and to chaplain for Camp Gray, per canon 565, effective March 1, 2011, concurrent with continuing completion of his Licentiate studies in Theology at the University St. Mary of the Lake, Mundelein, Illinois; from parochial vicar, Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Parish, Sun Prairie, effective January 12, 2011.

• Rev. Michael Klarer, to temporary medical leave of absence, effective immediately, while continuing as pastor of St. Victor’s Parish, Monroe, and St. Rose of Lima Parish, Brodhead, and serving as temporary liaison to the Bishop of Madison and the Vicar General on ministerial needs of the Apostolate to the Handicapped. A new priestly assignment for Fr. Klarer will occur during the annual summer priestly assignments in 2011.
