MADISON — The Catholic Multicultural Center (CMC) will host its fourth annual community block party Saturday, Aug. 13, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The CMC coordinates the block party to offer area families a free summer event to enjoy, to bring people together, and to celebrate multicultural unity.
Everyone is welcome to attend the festivities in the CMC parking lot. There will be games for prizes, face painting, and outdoor activities for children. All ages can participate in zumba, play bingo, and enjoy food for sale by the CMC’s Culinary Creations Catering.Live entertainment from different cultures and genres will be featured throughout the event including Los Nativos, Lydia Oakleaf, Lady Xok, and the dancers of Ballet Folklórico of Carlos and Sonia Avila.
