MADISON — If the Catholic Multicultural Center (CMC) can raise $11,000 on December 11, generous donors have agreed to match donations dollar-for-dollar, doubling the impact of each donation.
The CMC can only do this with the help of donors as part of the fourth annual Radiothon fundraiser on La Movida Spanish radio, being held on Friday, Dec. 11, to benefit CMC programs such as the newly expanded English as a Second Language program.
Listen to the Radiothon on La Movida 1480 (AM) live from the CMC from 12 noon to 6 p.m. People can donate in-person, on the CMC website at cmcmadison.org or by phone call to the CMC at 608-661-3512. Designated donations can also be made in advance.All are welcome to come to the center (1862 Beld St.) for the Radiothon celebration. Festivities take place from 12 noon through 7 p.m. starting with Our Lady of Guadalupe Mass in Spanish at 12 noon (feel free to bring flowers for Our Lady) followed by dance performances, live music, food, small prizes, and more.
Any donation, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated by the CMC and its community.
