MUSCODA — Nickolas Wiederholt, a senior from Riverdale High School, was recognized at a Court of Honor ceremony at St. John the Baptist school gym in Muscoda on Sunday, July 28.
This is the highest advancement award the Boy Scouts of America offers to scouts, and only approximately four percent of all Boy Scouts attain the rank of Eagle.
Nickolas is a member of Troop 152 sponsored by the Muscoda Lions Club. He is the first Boy Scout from Troop 152 in 31 years to reach the rank of Eagle Scout.
He is a member St. John the Baptist Church, Corpus Christi Parish, under the direction of Fr. Peter J. Auer.
Nickolas attends CCD classes and is very active in the parish and community. He will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation in the spring of 2014.
