Letter to the editor (6-2-22)

On June 1, 2022May 27, 2022
Catholic Herald Staff

To the Editor:

I applaud Archbishop Cordileone of San Francisco for notifying Nancy Pelosi that she is barred from receiving Holy Communion.

This is of course due to her continuing public support of abortion.

Abortion is and has always been a sin according to Catholic teaching. Pelosi continues to state that she is a “devout Catholic.” As such, she is certainly a bad example to everyone who values human life.

Thank you also to our Madison Diocese leader, Bishop Donald Hying, for sending out a statement fully supporting Archbishop Cordileone.
