Sauk Vicariate
PLAIN — The Sauk Vicariate Council of Catholic Women (CCW) will meet Tuesday, Sept. 10, at St. Luke Church, 1240 Nachreiner Ave.
Registration is from 2:30 to 3 p.m., followed by the business meeting and message from Madison Diocesan CCW President Coreen Marklein. The Theme is “Celebrate Family and Faith.”
Sarah Martin, R.N., from the Women’s Care Center in Madison, will speak at 4:15, with Mass celebrated by Fr. Michael Resop at 5:15. Dinner in the parish hall is at 6 p.m.
The Offertory collection will be donated to the Women’s Care Center. In addition, the council asks for donations of baby items, including diapers, formula, bottles, and new baby clothes up to size 3T.
Martin will talk about the Care Center, which opened in Madison in January 2012 and provides parenting skills classes, the Crib Club baby store, and support to pregnant women and new mothers in need.
