The Diocese of Madison has announced the merger of a new parish — Divine Mercy Parish — as of May 3.
This unites the church communities of St. Maria Goretti in Madison, St. William in Paoli, and St. Andrew in Verona.
St. William and St. Andrew Churches had previously been a part of St. Christopher Parish.
St. Maria Goretti School in Madison is also part of the new parish.
Msgr. Kevin Holmes will serve as pastor with Fr. Gabriel López-Betanzos serving as parochial vicar.
A Mass of installation will take place at a later date.
