The Diocese of Madison has announced the merger of a new parish — St. Maximilian Kolbe — as of July 19.
This unites the church communities of St. Michael Church in Dane and St. Patrick Church in Lodi (both formerly were part of Blessed Trinity Parish), St. John the Baptist Parish in Wauankee, and St. Mary of the Lake Parish in Westport.
Blessed Trinity School in Dane and St. John the Baptist School in Waunakee are also part of the parish.
Fr. Joseph Baker will serve as the pastor.
Fr. Anthony Kersting and Fr. Simon Tipps will serve as parochial vicars.
