Msgr. James Bartylla, Vicar General, announces the following priest appointments made by Most Reverend Donald J. Hying, Bishop of Madison, effective as stated below, and announced Saturday and Sunday, March 16 and 17:
- Rev. Fr. Peter Lee, to Aspirancy in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Province of the Discalced Carmelite Friars, with permission to be absent from the Diocese of Madison and the exercise of ministry with the Diocese of Madison for this purpose, per canon 283 §1, effective on or around April 1, 2024.
- Rev. Fr. Milot Frederique, SMM, to parochial vicar, St. Philomena Parish, Belmont; Our Lady of Fatima Parish, Darlington; St. Joseph Parish, Gratiot; St. Matthew Parish, Shullsburg; and St. John Parish, South Wayne, per canon 545, effective April 1, 2024, from studies at Divine Word College, Epworth, Iowa.
