Msgr. John Hebl died at his home on Monday, March 11, 2024, at the age of 88.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, March 18, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church, 307 W. Cook St., Portage. Visitation at the church will take place from 9 a.m. to shortly before Mass. Burial at the parish cemetery will take place following the Mass, and will include military graveside honors.
A separate visitation will take place on Sunday, March 17, at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church from 4 to 7 p.m., with Vespers at 7:30 p.m.
