REEDSBURG — Camp Gray, the Diocese of Madison’s summer camp and year-round retreat center, is nestled into 225 acres of land between Reedsburg, Baraboo, and Wisconsin Dells.

It’s located at E10213 Shady Lane Rd., Reedsburg.

Camp Gray invites people of all ages to encounter Jesus Christ in all creation, experience a fun and vibrant Catholic community, and be challenged to ever more deeply know, love, and serve God and neighbor.

Midwest Call to Chivalry camp held at Durward’s Glen

BARABOO — The American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family and Property (TFP) is an organization of lay Catholic Americans concerned about the moral crisis shaking the remnants of Christian civilization.

Its origins date back to January 1971, when the first TFP members started to group around the publication Crusade for a Christian Civilization.

Today, with over 120,000 active members, volunteers, and donors, the TFP is on the front lines of the “Culture War,” peacefully defending the values of tradition, family, and private ownership.

Camp Gray benefit dinner April 18

REEDSBURG — Camp Gray’s annual benefit dinner is said to be the most exciting fundraising event this side of the Mississippi, and on Saturday, April 18, the sixth annual dinner will be held with the theme “Love It While You Can.”

Raising over $25,000 for the camper scholarship fund, this event helps make summer camp possible for families who could not otherwise afford to send their kids.

How to build a solid spiritual plan for life

REEDSBURG — On January 8, 2015, the second evening in a series of talks for the Spirits and Spirituality Program was held at Karstens Hall at Camp Gray in Reedsburg.

The program is a joint effort between St. Cecilia Parish in Wisconsin Dells, St. Joseph Parish in Baraboo, and Sacred Heart Parish in Reedsburg. All parish members ages 21 and over are invited to attend.

National youth choir seeks singers

COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. — The National Catholic Youth Choir (NCYC) is seeking high school singers to audition for the 2015 camp and multi-state tour. The choir is led by Axel Theimer and founding director Fr. Anthony Ruff, OSB.

Catholic students entering grades nine through 12 in fall of 2015 are encouraged to audition.

The camp and tour will take place from June 15 through June 30, 2015. The camp is based in Saint John’s Abbey and University in Collegeville, Minn.

So, in 1923, they created what would become the only full-season Catholic girls overnight camp in the nation — WeHaKee Camp for Girls located in northern Wisconsin.
