Our Lady Queen of Peace School hosts inaugural Game Day planned by Spirit Club
MADISON — Our Lady Queen of Peace School (a.k.a. QP) recently hosted an inaugural QP Game Day, which promoted school athletics in a festive, interactive atmosphere that excited players, coaches, and fans.
Organized by QP’s own Spirit Club, which is made up of over 20 middle school students, the event was filled with activities to promote athletics and school pride.
The fall Game Day focused on girls volleyball, as QP’s fifth to eighth grade teams faced off against opponents from other Madison Area Independent Sports League (MAISL) schools.Trivia Night to be held in Watertown

FORT ATKINSON — St. Joseph Catholic School alumni in Fort Atkinson had the opportunity to travel to the Philippines on a mission trip recently.
Working with the Fort Atkinson Rotary Club, these six members of the High School Interact Club were selected to travel to Mararison Island and help with the project.
The school alumni included: Holland Foelker, Ernest Bos, Emmalee Buchta, Riley Koehler, Eli Koehler, and Ben Nelson.

Every second Saturday of the month, Edgewood faculty, students, alumni, and parents work together with Habitat volunteers in building homes for needy families.
Habitat’s vision
Through volunteer labor and donations of money and materials, Habitat for Humanity of Dane County builds and rehabilitates safe, decent homes with the help of partner families to provide affordable housing.
