As Catholics, we understand our Church has long been a voice for the voiceless — especially innocent unborn babies. Yet many view pro-life work as “too controversial” or simply uncomfortable.
I understand. Abortion should make us all uncomfortable because of what it does to women, babies, and all involved in the act, including those who work inside the abortion clinics.

We stand at a pivotal point in the great moral debate over abortion in our country — not because new arguments have emerged, but rather because laws so breathtaking in their barbarism have been passed, and a film so visceral in its presentation of the reality of abortion has found a wide audience.
As John Henry Newman reminded us, assent to a proposition is rarely a matter of acquiescing to rational demonstration alone; instead, it often has to do with the accumulation of argument, image, impression, experience, and witness.
Perhaps you’ve seen the movie Unplanned and want to know what to do next.
One suggestion is to join pro-lifers from coast to coast in a solemn prayer vigil at Planned Parenthood facilities to pray for an end to abortion.

I quit: Abby Johnson, former director of a Planned Parenthood abortion mill in Texas, may not have said, “I quit,’’ however, her actions proved she did. Abby, an R.N., had been named as “employee of the year,’’ being valued as a committed, energetic, caring person. “Wearing many hats,” one day she was asked to help in the surgical room, where abortions were performed. Helping with an ultra-sound guided abortion, she expected to learn something. And indeed she did!
MADISON — As the snow falls around her, a young woman walks from her car to the abortion clinic. No one came with her, and no doubt she will leave the same way. But she’s not alone.
A young woman walked through the first set of doors at Madison’s Planned Parenthood clinic to register. However, she kept looking back at a person praying on the sidewalk outside the building.
