Mary, Undoer of Knots, pray for us

Dear Blessed Mother: Now would be a really good time to pray, wouldn’t it? Now would be a good time to ask for your intercession with all of the knots in our lives: Confusion, chaos, uncertainty, and more confusion.

Many Catholics feel like they’re in the middle of many divisive issues and don’t know what to do, how to respond, or where to go.

[NOTE: The following questions are not indicative of specific ones that I ask myself or am wrestling with. They are topics I observe frequently discussed online or in real life.]

“What form of the Mass should I be attending?”

“Should I get the COVID-19 vaccine?”

“Who should I vote for?”

“Who should or should not be receiving Holy Communion?”

“What does it mean to be ‘pro-life’?”

“Can we really end abortion and what should I be doing about it?”

“Are birth control and NFP the same thing and which is better for me?”

“If two different priests have two different opinions and viewpoints on a particular issue, who do I listen to?”

“Am I still a Catholic if I don’t agree with everything the Church teaches?”

What a trying time to be alive.

Blessed Mother, we need your help more than ever.

You can help elevate our prayers to your Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, and open ourselves to the clarity He can give us.

We are lost and confused. Now is the time to pray. Now is the time to offer it all up through you, to your Son.

Now is the time to have faith that there are answers to all of these questions.

Now is the time to pray for our Church leaders that they can teach us what we need to know and guide us in the ways we are to live.

Now is the time to be open to God’s will and to be open to His answers even if they are not our wills nor our answers we’ve given ourselves over the years.

Let clarity and love prevail.

Help us to know what to say, think, feel, and do.

Mary, Undoer of Knots, pray for us!
