To the editor:
Please accept my thanks for your beautiful coverage of the Mass of Thanksgiving on the occasion of the 30th Anniversary of my Ordination as a Bishop on August 12, 2010.
I would first like to thank Bishop Morlino, Bishop of Madison, for inviting me to celebrate my 30 years as Bishop and hosting the Mass and Dinner in my honor. I am especially grateful to my fellow priests who came in such large numbers to concelebrate with me.
It is my style to personally, by mail, thank everyone who came, who wrote me and gifted me. The gifts will be used toward a trip to Rome in 2011.
To all who in any special way facilitated the day I say thank you through the Catholic Herald until I can thank you personally and individually. May God Bless and keep us all united in purpose as we prayerfully wait on God.
