JANESVILLE — An open class weekend for Ave Maria University’s Institute for Pastoral Theology will be held at St. John Vianney Parish, 1250 E. Racine St., Janesville. Prospective students can attend the following classes during the event:
- New Testament II: The Pauline Epistles: “The Corinthian Correspondence” on Friday, Feb. 18, from 7 to 9:50 p.m., and Saturday, Feb. 19, from 8 to 10:50 a.m. The class will be led by Dr. David Twellman.
- Canon Law: “Understanding Jurisdiction, Church Documents, and the Rights and Duties of the Faithful” on Saturday, Feb. 19, from 12:30 to 6:40 p.m. Professor Ben Nguyen will lead the class.
- Ecclesiology: ” The Mystery of the Church: Giving Glory to God” on Sunday, Feb. 20, from 8 a.m. to 3:50 p.m. The class will be led by Professor Douglas Bushman.
