MADISON — Br. Dominic Rothering, a Dominican friar, died Sunday, March 15, 2009, at the age of 90. A native of Minnesota, Brother Dominic had served in the Diocese of Madison for 42 years.
The funeral Mass will be 11 a.m., Saturday, March 21, at Blessed Sacrament Church, 2116 Hollister Ave., Madison. Visitation will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Friday, March 20, at the church. Burial will be private in the Dominican Friars plot at Resurrection Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dominican Retirement Fund or Blessed Sacrament School, 2116 Hollister Ave., Madison, WI 53726.
