MADISON — On Saturday, March 14, 2009, Steve Bolser, long-time principal at Our Lady Queen of Peace School in Madison, died after a difficult battle with brain cancer.
Bolser served the Diocese of Madison for many years, teaching and leading with great care and love for all the students, parents, teachers, and families who were blessed to work with him, said Michael Lancaster, superintendent of Catholic schools.
All are invited to pay their respects at the visitation and funeral Mass. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 19, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 401 S. Owen Dr.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 20, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Brain Tumor Research Association, Our Lady Queen of Peace School Endowment, or St. Mary’s Care Center Foundation.
