Roberta Silva, mother of Fr. John Silva dies

FORT BRANCH, Ind. — Roberta Elizabeth (Obert) Silva, 70, mother of Fr. John Silva, parochial administrator of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, Monona, died on Sunday, Dec. 6, in Fort Branch, Ind

She dedicated her life to God, church, family, school, and her community. She was a member of St. Bernard Parish and an active member of the St. Anne’s Altar Society and the St. Bernard’s Choir..

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014, with Fr. John Silva as main concelebrant at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Snake Run.
