The voices of Saint Paul’s are coming onto the podcasting scene.

Saint Paul’s On The Go is the official podcast of Saint Paul’s Catholic Student Center in Madison.

It launched almost two years ago and it has taken off over the last year with a 46 percent increase in listeners.

The podcast features a variety of topics with the goal to reach a wide audience with formation and inspiring stories of young people living out their Catholic faith.

The first subject matter shared on the podcast was Mass homilies, starting with Ash Wednesday in 2023 and posting subsequent Sunday Mass homilies since then.

The weekly message from the pulpit is shared so more people can hear a homily intended for a college-aged audience.

This may benefit students who are away from campus for any reason, as well as parents who are interested in the formation their children receive at Saint Paul’s each Sunday.

The podcast expanded in the fall of 2023 with the publication of RCIA classes taught by our priests each week.

More than 100 students attend the course in person each Sunday evening at Saint Paul’s.

The podcast form of the course is a resource both to the students who may miss a class and to family members or friends who are interested in what the Catholic Church teaches.

The latest and most popular edition of Saint Paul’s On The Go is “Vox Pauli,” the Voice of Saint Paul’s.

These podcasts entail interviews between Pastor Fr. Eric Sternberg and young men and women currently involved with Saint Paul’s ministries.

The episodes are both entertaining and inspiring, featuring testimonies of students whose lives have been transformed by growing in their faith at Saint Paul’s.

The podcast is reaching a large and expanding audience. On average, recent episodes are gaining 350 listens across all platforms.

To listen to Saint Paul’s On The Go, episodes are available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and YouTube (youtube.com/@UWCatholic).

They are a great source of hope for the future of our Church!
