WAUNAKEE — The film It’s Happening Right Here unveils the truth that sex
trafficking can happen in every community.
This documentary film will be shown to help create an awareness about online grooming, sextortion, and trafficking, along with preventative tools, and will be examined through interviews with law enforcement, technology experts, and survivors.
Despite the darkness of this crime, hope can be found in the organizations fighting to end trafficking and those sharing their experiences to protect others.
Everyone can benefit from attending this program that will be presented on Wednesday, Sept. 20, at 6:30 p.m. in St. John the Baptist School, 114 East Third St., Waunakee.
