Day of the Dead altars in Princeton

On October 31, 2013
Kevin Wondrash

PRINCETON — As a way of celebrating the Day of the Dead and November — a month dedicated to remembering the deceased — area Catholics are invited to build an altar honoring someone close to you that has passed away. This can include mementos, favorite things, items relating to work, gardening, or other items.

The exhibit will be on display at St. John Parish in Princeton the weekend of Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 9 and 10.

For more information, contact Marjorie Mlodzik 608-295‑3469. All proposed altars are subject to her approval. Proposals must be submitted by November 5.
