To the editor:
As we honored Saints Peter and Paul recently, it dawned on me that our entire earliest Church was Jewish. God chose Mary, a Jewish woman, to bring Jesus, a Jewish man/God, into the world. Jesus and Mary were not Irish, German, or Swiss.
If God so honored the Jewish race, we should at least talk about and honor our Jewish roots and how important they are to our Christianity. We are all God’s children.
