John Wilk, father of Fr. Brian Wilk, dies

SOUTH MILWAUKEE — A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated for John Wilk, father of Fr. Brian Wilk, pastor of St. Bernard Parish, Middleton, on Friday, March 11, 2016, at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 800 Marquette Ave., South Milwaukee.

Burial was at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Cudahy, Wis.

John Wilk, 90, is survived by his wife of 67 years Rita Wilk; children: Mary Ann (Robert) Mergener, Dr. Peter (Julie) Wilk, John (Kathy) Wilk, Jerry (Patty) Wilk and Fr. Brian Wilk, eight grandchildren, and six great granddaughters.
