BERLIN — Joseph Anthony Resop, Sr., age 95, father of Fr. Michael Resop, pastor of St. Luke Parish in Plain and St. John the Evangelist Parish in Spring Green, died on Wednesday, May 1, 2013, in Berlin..
Visitation will be Sunday, May 5, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Wiecki-Skipchak Funeral Home, 116 S. Adams Ave., Berlin (in downtown Berlin) and on Monday, May 6, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., also at the funeral home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, May 6, at 12 noon at All Saints Catholic Church, N 8566 State Road 49, north of Berlin. The celebrant of the Funeral Mass will be Father Resop with Fr. Gary Krahenbuhl as homilist. A private family burial will take place at St. Michael Catholic Cemetery in Berlin at a later date.
