Requiem Mass for the Unborn held at Pine Bluff church

On January 14, 2015
Kevin Wondrash

PINE BLUFF — A Requiem Mass for the Unborn will be held at St. Mary Church in Pine Bluff at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 22. It is being held to mark the 42nd anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision.

The Roe v. Wade decision was a U.S. Supreme Court decision that made abortion legal in all 50 states.

The decision transformed America overnight, because all but five states had bans on abortion prior to this decision. There have been over 56 million babies lost to abortion since this tragic decision in 1973.
