Rosary Rallies for Religious Liberty in McFarland
MCFARLAND — For the fifth year, Christ the King Parish, McFarland, will be holding weekly Rosary Rallies for Religious Liberty.
The kick-off is on Tuesday, June 21. Pastor Fr. Steve Smith will present a short overview of the issues and talk about the perspective Catholics can bring to the challenges facing religious groups.
At the beginning of each subsequent rally, a three-minute reflection on faith will be read, with a related Rosary intention. The overview and reflections are printed in a booklet that will be available to anyone attending the rallies, and upon request.

Monona parish holds family-friendly race
MONONA — Immaculate Heart of Mary (IHM) Parish will hold the Support Our Athletic Race (S.O.A.R.) on Sunday, May 29, starting at 3:30 p.m. at IHM School, 4913 Schofield St.
The family-friendly 5K and one-mile courses run through the residential streets of Monona. All are invited to attend and participate in this community event.
Nearly 200 runners, joggers, and walkers participated in last year’s events. All participants under the age of 13 receive a medal.
‘Eucharistic Miracles of the World’ exhibit to be held at Boscobel parish
BOSCOBEL — The Vatican International “Eucharistic Miracles of the World” exhibit will be at Corpus Christi Parish, at the Immaculate Conception Church hall in Boscobel, on May 27 to 29: Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 12 noon to 9 p.m. The exhibit is open to the public.
Eucharistic Adoration will be available in the church while the exhibit is on, followed by Benediction each day. The DVD Science Tests Faith, a presentation on research done in this area, will also be on display in the hall. People willing to be adorers for Adoration during the exhibit would be welcomed.

The exhibit, which features large posters depicting miracles in the Holy Eucharist from across the world, is sponsored by the Real Presence Eucharistic Education and Adoration Association.
‘Our Faith Stories’ at St. Ann Parish in Stoughton
STOUGHTON — On Sunday, May 22, Jim Cisler from Holy Mother of Consolation Parish, Oregon, and Laurie Mecum, from St. Ann Parish, Stoughton, will be witnessing to their faith during a night of faith sharing at St. Ann Parish.
The theme of Cisler’s talk in the “Our Faith Stories” series will be, “You need to stay the course with your faith in God on your life’s journey and all will work out in the end.” Mecum will have a similar message, “Jesus, I trust in You!”

Students in Ashton learn about mercy and prayer
ASHTON — “I want to talk to you today about something very special that we can pray about,” said Grace Mazza Urbanski, director of children’s ministry for the Apostleship of Prayer, to students at St. Peter School in Ashton.
That “very special thing” was mercy.
“We’re going to pretend we are mercy walking through the world,” Urbanski said.
The Apostleship of Prayer, based in Milwaukee, encourages Christians to make a daily offering of themselves to the Lord for the coming of God’s Kingdom and for the Holy Father’s monthly intentions.
Gala for the Glen set for June 18
BARABOO — Durward’s Glen Retreat and Educational Center will hold its 2016 Gala for the Glen on Saturday, June 18, at St. Joseph School in Baraboo. Dinner tickets are $50 each.
The Gala for the Glen is one of the major fundraisers for Durward’s Glen. The Friends Group that purchased the property in 2011 to preserve these 37+ acres of natural and historic beauty, has been working steadily to make improvements to the grounds and expand the programs offered for Catholic faith development and renewal, cultural arts, and environmental stewardship.
Monsignor Schmelzer to be recognized at St. Philip Church in Highland
HIGHLAND — In honor of the Feast of St. Philip, Fr. Jim Murphy, pastor SS. Anthony and Philip Parish, has scheduled a Mass on Sunday, May 1, at 1 p.m. at St. Philip Church.
At this Mass, Msgr. Delbert Schmelzer, a pastor emeritus in the Diocese of Madison, will be recognized for the 60-year anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood. Monsignor Schmelzer celebrated his first Mass at St. Philip Church in May of 1956.
