Expose horrors of selling aborted baby organs

On July 23, 2015
Colleen Sonderberg

To the editor:

On July 14, a shocking video came out exposing Planned Parenthood in the selling of baby organs for profit. Planned Parenthood Federation Senior Director of Medical Services Dr. Deborah Nucatola talked about the business of selling baby human organs to two undercover actors from the Center For Medical Progress posing as buyers.

She told of instructing abortionists to deliver live, intact, late term babies breech so organs (heads, livers, lungs, and hearts) are not damaged and can be sold (usually, aborted babies are ripped apart in pieces while still alive and inside the womb). This requires killing live babies even after they are born — when it is illegal to kill babies.

Planned Parenthood facilities have quotas for abortions and rarely give pregnant woman other options. The majority of women are coerced by parents, families, boyfriends, even friends and strangers — later to deeply regret their decision.

I became pregnant when I was 17 years old. I only realized then that babies aren’t clumps of tissue but instead separate and fully human beings simply at an earlier stage of development.

I encourage media to expose the horrors of these findings, for Congress to act on them, and for the public to learn from them. This is why I want to form a pro-life club called To Save A Life at Madison College, the college I presently attend. Across the street from the Truax campus is a Planned Parenthood.

Let us join together and bring back respect for all human life and all forms of social justice. Children depend on us to protect them.
